Jacob is committed to alleviating the stress and confusion associated with taxes. He aims to make the complex world of taxes comprehensible for clients, ensuring they trust Peak Retirement Planning to navigate their journey toward a confident retirement.

Jacob earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in accounting from Bowling Green State University, and he obtained his CPA license in 2021. Before joining Peak Retirement Planning, he served as a corporate accounting analyst and then as a tax preparer for his dad’s tax preparation business.

Jacob is married to Madisyn, who cares for their son, Lucas. Jacob’s brother, Josh Richardson, also works with Peak Retirement Planning and was the 4th hire into the firm. Josh influenced Jacob’s decision to work with Peak after he experienced the culture and mission of our firm. Outside of work, Jacob loves to play golf and watch sports. He is also very involved at his local church, where he leads a young adult Bible study.
