Dominic joined Peak Retirement Planning and owner Joe Schmitz Jr., his longtime friend of over 15 years, to help people find retirement confidence. What drove Dominic to work with Peak Retirement Planning was the culture and mission to serve others and build lifetime relationships with clients.

Having previously worked in a similar field for over 9 years, Dominic helps clients in a variety of areas. He mostly specializes in managing client accounts, communicating with clients on planning needs, and assisting with the creation of simplified retirement plans.

Dominic is committed to providing exceptional client services and strategies. Dominic earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in 2017 from The Ohio State University, where he was a walk-on placekicker for the Buckeyes’ nationally renowned team from 2015 to 2016.

“I have always had the desire to help people, especially with my finance background,” Dominic says, “and what better way to help people than helping them develop a plan to obtain financial peace of mind about enjoying their retirement.”

A resident of Dublin, Ohio, Dominic enjoys coin collecting, golf, Kansas Jayhawks basketball, Ohio State football and spending time with family and friends. His parents, Joe and Lori, live in Lancaster, Ohio, and he has three siblings: two older brothers, Jon and Tony, and a younger sister, Erin. Dominic also is the proud owner of two cats, Shabazz and Nora.
