Richard helps clients clarify exactly what they want out of their estate plan, then provides tailored tools and strategies to help them reach their goals. He has a deep understanding of long-term care planning and has made it his primary focus.

He enjoys working with clients in or near retirement and veterans, believing both communities are underserved. Richard’s background in accounting and the military serves him well in his mission to assist seniors and veterans through skilled research and planning to help ensure they keep every dollar they can. He served six years in the Army National Guard and completed one tour of duty in Bagram, Afghanistan.

Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Shawnee State University. He earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law.

He and his wife, Ashleigh, have two children, Rhys and Aubree. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, attending sporting events and playing golf.
